My Story

All started out from one broken skateboard…

2016-2020

The journey of Rebirth began in 2016 as a freshman in middle school in Mapleton Utah.

Loved skateboarding & built up a collection of broken boards & didn't know what to do with them. Loved the idea of repurposing something old into something new & thought it would be cool to wear my own skateboard.

Messed around with the tools in my garage with my Dad and Rebirth Rings was born. Started off as a hobby making rings & selling them to kids at school and turned it into a small business which allowed me to sell them online.

2020-2022

In December of 2020 I decided to leave the comfort of my backyard and move to the North Shore of Oahu.

This brought a lot of change and a little discomfort, but ultimately gave Rebirth a new meaning.

A brand based around embracing change, Rebirth began to grow, and I started to create apparel. Inspired by what I was experiencing on the island, I shared the message of Rebirth.

2022-2024

Eventually I became comfortable living on the island and decided it was time for a new chapter.

I decided to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Guatemala.

My good friend, Carter Smith, took over my workshop at Sunset Beach with the help of some North Shore friends.

Leaving was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but I knew that my decision had purpose.

Present

My experiences in Guatemala completely shifted my perspective and the direction of Rebirth.

In collaboration with Tejidos De Santiaguito, Rebirth is now launching its first ever Guatemalan inspired collection.

With the aid of sixteen women living in San Lucas Tolimán, Rebirth continues to ride the waves of change, making friends on the way, with culture and human connection at its center.

This is just the beginning of something new.
